Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson really does not like the snowflake generation.
This shows an interview that the actor – who belongs to the highest paid in the world – with the British tabloid The Daily Star has led.
The Rock said the snowflakes are taking society in a direction that does not match the ideals of freedom that people have been struggling with over the past few decades for their PC feelings.
"So many good people have fought for freedom and equality, but this generation is looking for a reason to be insulted," the 46-year-old told the Daily Star. "If you disagree with them, they are offended, and not so many great men and women have fought for it."
The Rock believes that the world has made great strides in recent decades, but also that the people of the "Generation Snowflake" are in the way of positive change.
"Fortunately, we live in a world that has evolved over the past 30 or 40 years," The Rock said. "People can be what they want, who they want and live with, how they want, it can only be a good thing, but generation snowflakes, or whatever you want to call them, actually bring us back."
The Rock did not go into the question of how the snowflake generation "brings us back", but argued that everything was due to freedom of speech.
"I do not have to agree with what someone thinks, who they vote for, what they vote for, what they think," The Rock said. "That's democracy."
I think he's trying to say that he's really fed up with our "candy butts".
